Why I'm starting this blog

Last year I left my job as a data engineer to build answer.one together with my 2 co-founders. Since then, most of what I've learned about running a business came from trying and failing, and from other people writing honestly about theirs. This blog is me being honest, and occasionally using it as a sort of diary.

What to expect here

I'll write about running the business: finding clients, pricing, the things that worked and the things that didn't. And because I can't help myself, there will also be updates on the side projects that keep escaping my weekends.

No polished thought leadership, no hindsight-only success stories. Just notes written while it's still uncertain how it turns out.

Why write it down in public

Writing forces me to actually understand a decision instead of just making it. Publishing forces me to be honest about it. The internet glorifies entrepreneurship, and I want to share my honest experience. And if one post saves another first-time founder a month of overthinking, that's a bonus.

If you want to follow along, I'm on X, or just check back here.
