The bedroom hydrofarm

Evidence, as promised. I built a working hydroponic farm in my bedroom — no soil, just water, nutrients and a lot of curiosity.

A hydroponic farm built in a bedroom
Grown indoors — soil-free, water-based, fully under my control.

I've always liked building things you can actually touch and watch grow. This one started as a simple experiment: could I run a self-contained growing system indoors, controlling light, nutrients and water flow myself?

Turns out you can — and it's a surprisingly good way to learn about feedback loops, monitoring, and the gap between a system on paper and a system that has to survive the real world. The same instincts that make this fun are the ones I bring to software.
